“It will be unique. It’s a reason to come in addition to seeing a product at Tiffany — to spend a cultural moment through the Blue 84 maroon boston college eagles 2023 acc women’s lacrosse tournament champions shirt Apart from…,I will love this brand and what it can offer,” says Arnault, the 30-year-old son of Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of Tiffany owner LVMH. But tech will not dominate. “There’s digital, video, etcetera, but our sales representatives are physical. It’s not ChatGPT who’s in charge of the in-store sales,” Arnault says. He adds that a challenge was to create a warm and intimate atmosphere in such a large space: “The ground floor ceiling is 7.5 metres high and there are 1,000 square metres of floor space excluding pillars, so it’s very stately. We created many private spaces even on the ground floor, with panels behind which you can sit at consultation tables. It’s very important. Each floor has private salons and the engagement floor has four private salons.” Peter Marino, who was notably behind the renovation of Dior’s historic flagship on Avenue Montaigne and the Cheval Blanc hotel in Paris, was the architect in chief, together with architectural firm Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) co-founded by Rem Koolhaas. OMA designed the three-story glass addition. “We call it the diamond on the roof,” says Arnault.

The scale of the Blue 84 maroon boston college eagles 2023 acc women’s lacrosse tournament champions shirt Apart from…,I will love this project reflects LVMH’s grand ambitions for Tiffany following its blockbuster acquisition of the American jeweller for $15.8 billion in October 2020. The renovation of the flagship was started by previous management, but the bulk of it has been under Ledru and Arnault. It’s the first comprehensive renovation since the store opened in 1940. It’s also a high stakes for Ledru and Arnault. Prior to its closing in 2019, the store contributed around 10 per cent of the brand’s global sales, according to LVMH CFO Jean-Jacques Guiony. The renovation should have a “positive impact”, Guiony told analysts during the conglomerate’s first-quarter earnings presentation, “not only in terms of numbers, but it’s also very important in terms of marketing and branding because it’s a testimony of what we are doing with the brand. It’s probably the most emblematic luxury store in the world.” According to sources with knowledge of the matter, the Tiffany revamp is the largest investment in a luxury store globally to date.
