Hhshirt - Cincinnati Reds tiny turnip lucky charm shirt

For the Cincinnati Reds tiny turnip lucky charm shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this man who wears solid white everyday, I normally think executive, lawyer, accountant, politician, IRS or FBI agent, jobs where a certain degree of reservation or conservatism is encouraged/required. On a personal note, I would never (or rarely) wear a white dress shirt without a tie or jacket. I think it makes me look like a waiter (no offense to waiters), particularly so with black pants. Oh my goodness , there’s this wonderful search engine , Google ! Sorry if I am being smart ass , though really ? It seems Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire has made the club collar desirable again. The LA Times saluted it. Sheeple are craving it. These are club collars = Eton collars. Edwardian origin. Rounded, stiff although modern versions are softer with light interlining.. Can be just the collar, have eyelets to wear with a tie bar and there are even button down versions. Often seen in a contrast collar makeup. Pink is quite popular and so are yellow, lavender, and of course white and blue. They are also often made up in a contrast collar with stripes. I think it is a love it or hate it collar. One of the most anachronistic collars on men’s shirts in my opinion. It’s a bit too dear and precious for me. Americans seem to like them. Especially with a tie bar. You will find them at Brooks Brothers, J Press and Ralph Lauren. Hugh and Crye currently does a button down version but the others have done them too. But below the radar until recently.

You can wear it casually, with a blazer or sport coat with/without a tie. If with a tie, tie bar preferred over no tie bar. Some will wear it with suits. Has a prep-school, public school (UK), collegiate, trad/ivy vibe to it. It was invented at Eton and Eton was just not a place of education but of style. They invented it so as to distinguish its students from similarly dressed troglodyte non-Etonians. Little blue blazers, short pants, caps. Round out the Cincinnati Reds tiny turnip lucky charm shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this point collar and all will see that Etonians are above the masses. Eton was an exclusive club and so a second name was coined, the Club collar to reflect deride the elitism of Eton while still being envious. Then it was copied, at first as an attempt to pass as the elite but then it became so popular that it became almost ubiquitous by the 1930’s and then started to fall from grace. A blip in the early 60’s, popped up in ugly ways in the 70’s and then nothing really until this renaissance thanks to AMC and HBO. Yes, but if you have the right tool you can do it, but the shirt will need some resewing when you’re through. Instead of going to an expensive Tailor, I would find me a Seamstress. They are cheaper. Your Dry Cleaners usually have one on board, or they know of one, or two. If your local Walmart has an Ad or Want-ad Board then you may spot the sewing services there.
