Hhshirt - It’s weird being the same age as old people shirt

Over the It’s weird being the same age as old people shirt besides I will buy this past few months, a glittery new cultural center has been settling itself into the heart of Mumbai’s commercial district, steadily rolling out a series of offerings unlike anything the city has seen before. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is an ambitious plot of real estate, a brass-and-glass behemoth that wouldn’t have been out of place in a James Bond film, and fitted with all the latest trappings of entertainment-related tech. The center houses a three-story art gallery; an intimate, 150-seat experimental theater; and a larger studio theater seating 250, all of which have been quietly hosting shows since late last year. But the “crown jewel,” as it were, is set to make its grand opening this weekend: The Grand Theatre, so named because it is indeed wreathed in as much grandeur as any historical monument in its heyday, is set to finally open its doors to patrons, debuting with Feroz Abbas Khan’s visionary spectacle The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation.

“People would go to Broadway or the It’s weird being the same age as old people shirt besides I will buy this West End, and would resign themselves to the fact that such a thing cannot happen in India,” says Khan, whose directorial success, Mughal-e-Azam, is the closest that contemporary Indian theater has gotten to a Broadway-level production. “Even if we had the talent and the imagination, we didn’t have the infrastructure or the financial support and muscle to create these kinds of productions. At the Grand Theatre at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, we finally have infrastructure which is far better than what you’d see anywhere in the world.” The theater was designed by Steve Clem and Nick Wolfcale at TVS Design in collaboration with Brian Hall of Theatre Projects Consultants. It was modeled on the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Specs include 2,000 seats, all of which have unobstructed views of the stage, a world-class Dolby Atmos Surround Sound system, an 100-seater orchestra pit, and to top it all off, a stunning LED light sculpture with 8,400 Swarovski crystals that can be programmed as part of the lighting design of any given production. “Artists will no longer be limited by their imagination,” beams Khan. “What’s more, we finally have a theater that can house shows from abroad, which means that audiences in India will at last get to see some of the finest productions in the world.”Photo: Courtesy of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre
