For me, this framework was the Let’s go johnson shirt moreover I love this traditions around Ayahuasca. Although my first experience with Ayahuasca was with an American medicine woman taught by Colombian healers, I entered much deeper into my relationship with this sacred medicine when I served under a Shipibo healer in the Amazon jungle. There, I trained with many plants, learning how to heal through Ayahuasca, icaros (healing songs), and dieta—the process of removing all unnecessary foods and distractions from your body for extended periods of time while working directly with a healing plant. All this has given me a strong framework around which I can now serve others in my healing work. I still am growing and learning directly from spirit everyday.
The first Shaman I believe the Let’s go johnson shirt moreover I love this oldest known origins are Siberian. But from what I have studied and read all cultures have some form of medicine men and medicine women. exhibiting cross dressing or desire to experience both genders as in the case of the “Twin-Spirited” shamans who are considered the most powerful. the term “Shaman” with the advent of the internet has become in “vogue” for people to call themselves A shaman… If you have passed all “tests” that these Higher Spirits put you thru either a formal training or even no formal training you will in essence know how to and be able to transcend this material reality and enter into other dimensions…. you will in essence, become no longer human – you are Super natural with Super natural abilities to extract illnesses and demons. you will be able to journey to the “Underworlds” and over worlds on up to the highest dimensions… and you will comfortable with death – escorting departed souls to the “other-side.” or contact departed ancestors to gather power and help… this is a partial list – reading a book about Shamanism does not make a person a Shaman. Taking a class on Shamanism or a course does not make a person a Shaman. Certainly. Not much different than a psychotherapist would seek counselling by a colleague. Being a Shaman does not mean to be free from blockades, or immune to resistance. Or being a Buddha, pervious to the illusions of the world. It is primarily a matter of perception and awareness, not a distinction of having finished one’s journey as a human being. In other words, also Shamans continue working on themselves, or typically recognize the need to do so.
