Hhshirt - Los Angeles Rams Autism Awareness it’s not a disability it’s not a disability shirt

We’re living through an ugly moment for LGBTQ+ teens in the Los Angeles Rams Autism Awareness it’s not a disability it’s not a disability shirt Apart from…,I will love this US, and maybe it’s partly because of that context that I enjoyed Bottoms so much. The film doesn’t flinch when it comes to endless shots of girls hitting each other hard in PJ and Josie’s impromptu fight club, which is loosely supervised by an uninvolved teacher played to perfection by Marshawn Lynch and takes place primarily in a realistically gross-looking high school gym. I love that Bottoms doesn’t (quite literally) pull its punches. Set against the increasing pressure on queer and trans youth to be unassailable role models, it’s an absolute joy to watch Josie consensually yet awkwardly smash her crush in the face or hear PJ complain of the modest group that first shows up to the fight club: “These girls are all ugly.” (This just in: Teenagers are often crude and stupid! Even the queer ones!)

Bottoms’ stars are all in their mid-to-late 20s, and the Los Angeles Rams Autism Awareness it’s not a disability it’s not a disability shirt Apart from…,I will love this film doesn’t even take a stab at trying to age them down visually, but that kind of enhances the humor. After all, I grew up watching full-fledged adults earnestly try to portray teens on The OC, so I’m more than willing to suspend my disbelief about the likelihood that a high school junior just so happens to look like Kaia Gerber. (Gerber is used sparingly and perfectly in Bottoms, by the way, and if you’d ever dreamed of seeing her land a square punch to a douchebag guy’s jaw, this is the film for you.)The deadpan delivery that made Sennott so effective in her and Seligman’s previous collaboration, the 2021 dark comedy Shiva Baby, is brought back to great effect in Bottoms, but Edebiri is the film’s heart and soul. Watching her nervously make her way around campus and into her crush’s heart while clad in an extremely accurate queer-teen uniform of baggy tees and hoodies was an unexpectedly emotional experience, maybe in part due to the fact that there’s so little mainstream art that centers Black, queer, female protagonists.
