Hhshirt - rn The Wave Shirt

The film, which will be released on July 21, already appears to be a celebratory and inclusive affair; openly queer actors like Evans and Nef have joined the rn The Wave Shirt and I will buy this Barbie gang. Nef shared a deeply personal note alongside her poster on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing she wrote a letter to Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie in the hopes that they would accommodate her potential scheduling conflicts and cast her in the film. Nef shared portions of that letter, declaring the personal importance of Barbie to herself and her other trans friends and writing in part, “No doll matters more than Barbie.” “What else is she supposed to wear?” That was my colleague Laia Garcia-Furtado after yet another Gwyneth Paltrow courtroom look went viral last month. Paltrow may have won in the courtroom, but if you ask me we all lost with the endless discourse about her anything-but-out-of-the-ordinary looks. Perhaps that’s a little bit dramatic, but let’s face it: A particularly hushed fall 2023 season combined with Paltrow’s “quiet luxury” looks and the return of HBO’s Succession (and that “ludicrously capacious bag”) have led the fashion corner of the internet down a “stealth wealth” rabbit hole. But we know that wealthy people wear ridiculously expensive basics. Personally, I’m far more interested in the way people, both rich and, well… less rich, have found high-end fashion’s renewed embrace of the eccentric worthy of their attention and money. Forget stealth wealth, I’m here for kooky luxury. An out-of-focus trench printed on a silk dress at Loewe, fall 2023 ready-to-wear.

In its second year, what’s working for Metaverse Fashion Week? Fewer fashion shows, more giveaways and gamification. Over the rn The Wave Shirt and I will buy this four-day period, MVFW on Decentraland saw a total of about 60 participating brands, and an estimated 26,000 unique active users, according to Decentraland. Other estimates put unique visitors at nearly 8,900 and almost 60,000 total experience visits, according to data analysis by metaverse data platform Geeiq, looking at data provided by third-party vendors. Both figures are down from last year’s MVFW’s 108,000 unique visitors, according to data provided by Decentraland. Just over half of this year’s visitors were new to the platform, and visitors returned an average of four times throughout the week.
