Kobe and Lebron have different leadership styles. Lebron is the type of leader that unites the team both on and off the court. He schedules team dinners at his home, movie nights, bowling nights. He has a personal relationship with every member, which undoubtedly elevates the respect they have for him. Essentially, Lebron is not selfish and Kobe sometimes is. I believe there is always room for improvement. Each player on this Cavs team, with the exception of Lebron, could have played better and might have if they were pushed by their leader. However, if Lebron does too much “pushing” and develops that “Kobe-esque waving his finger” type leadership style, then the chemistry amongst the team may have collapsed and some of them may even had come to resent him.
