is like Larry Bird reinvented – he’s a tremendous shooter, and he’s pretty damn solid all the Timo time 2023 shirt also I will do this way around. But if you had to nitpick, you’d probably point out that Durant can’t handle and distribute the way that Jordan could (not even close, I’m afraid), nor can he post up, quarterback the defense, etc.. Part of the problem is Durant’s long dribble, part of it is the role he’s been asked to play his entire career. is very similar to Jordan in terms of skill/style, except he just can’t shoot (relatively speaking). If LeBron is a step behind Jordan in terms of shooting, Wade is a 100 yards back. doesn’t belong in the question. He’s a mediocre shooter and distributor, and he just doesn’t have enough playing time to justify a comparison. * Kobe doesn’t have a hole in his game (or at least he didn’t in his peak years). He was the kind of player who could take whatever advantage he had and beat you over the head with it. Between his finishing ability, shooting, post game, defense, and under-rated skill as a passer, he was always the most skilled player on the floor in his day.

That much is certain. He’s hogged the ball for most of his career, called every point guard “Fish” (whether they were Derek Fisher or not), treated Smush Parker like something he stepped in (perhaps deservedly), and then there’s that whole thing in Vail that I won’t get into…all of which made Kobe a score-first type of player. If there’s an area where Kobe doesn’t really compare to Jordan, it’s physicality…only it’s hard to say for sure how Kobe would do in Jordan’s NBA or… I think Durant going to GSW was more polarizing than LeBron going to the Heat. The Heat before getting LeBron were a middle standing team and only had 1 superstar in Dwanye Wade on the team. Getting both James and Bosh instantlly made them the number 1 contender team.
